The
vacuum interrupters should be checked and maintained once a year to ensure normal operation. The inspection should do the following work:
a) Carry out a power frequency withstand voltage test on the pipe, test the vacuum degree and record it in the record.
b) Carry out the power frequency withstand voltage test on the insulating parts.
c) Test the distance, contact travel and mechanical characteristics of the circuit breaker, and record them in the book.
d) Check whether the connecting bolts and nuts at the adjustable parts of each connecting piece are loose, especially the small connecting screws at the arm of the auxiliary switch, and the locking nut connected to the moving conductive rod of the vacuum tube.
e) Check whether various circlips, pins, etc. are loose at each rotating joint; add lubricating grease to each rotating and sliding part.
f) For
vacuum interrupters with a current greater than 1 600 A, the DC resistance test of each pole shall be carried out and recorded.
g) If the tube needs to be replaced, it should be carried out according to the requirements of the product manual. After the replacement, the mechanical property test and the pressure test should be carried out.
h) After the annual inspection and before putting into operation, it should be operated continuously for 8 to 10 times with no load, and it can be put into operation after everything is normal.
